Our Process

Our plan starts with you.

We are going to ask a lot of questions, because we want your project to fit your needs and vision, not our assumptions.

Your answers will help us to estimate the size, scope, functionality, and development time of your project.

Part I - General information

Who, What, When and Where

Who’s the primary contact for this project? Please include name, email, and phone.

Do you have an ideal date for website launch? Are there outside considerations that might affect the timeline (e.g. product launches, studio openings)?

Part II - Build Sheet

Tactical and Strategic Goals

What are you doing, now, and in the future?  What do you do?  Tell us about your products, services, and/or content.

Who is your target market?  Businesses or consumers?  Boutique or budget shoppers?  Cosmopolitan or conservative?  Local or intergalactic?  Babies or Boomers?

Upon arrival, are your visitors coming for information or are they buying?  Are they scheduling, subscribing, or contributing?

What does your social media presence look like?  What do you want it to look like?  Where are your target customers at?

Do you have an existing website?  Will you be able to provide assets for your website?  This would include all copy (bios, headlines, products, about pages, etc.), images, and a logo or other branding.

Part III - Design

How do you want to be seen?

Are you a thought leader or expert in your field?  Are you new to your industry or do you have an established foothold.  Is your market local or beyond?  Is your work custom or mass produced?

Who is your competition?  Who is your inspiration?

How are you different, better, or special in your field?

Part IV - Nuts and bolts

Under the Hood

Do you already have an existing website or domain?

Will anyone else, such as partners or employees, need administrative access to the website?

Part V - Production

Your baby is on the way.

We won’t send you a wordy manuscript of legal babble and techno jargon, but it’s best to have expectations and promises on paper.

Our client agreement is clear and in plain English.  You can review it here.

We will provide you clear timelines and constant communication of project delivery status.

Part VI - Delivery

It's just right.

When we turn the project over to you, we make sure you are in, up and running before hand-off.  If you need a few quick changes to address errors or oversights, we have your back. If you need training on the Squarespace platform, we provide that too.

Part VII - CPR Care

We're here if you need us.

Ongoing maintenance and updates should never be a concern for you. We look forward to supporting your project and your business for as long as you will have us. We bill followup support at our standard rate of $95/hr in half-hour increments.

CHROMACare is our ongoing monthly support subscription. If you feel more comfortable having us on call, you can purchase support time at a discounted rate.
